ArtWalk San Diego will not process your application until we receive all of the following: application form, art images, and professional display image. Will my application be processed if I don’t submit artwork images? The ArtWalk San Diego staff will assign artist spaces, but please list any specific requirements or special requests you may have (i.e., facing away from the sun, etc.) Please note, we do not provide electricity. May I request a specific space location when I apply? Please address checks to “Art for People.” We also accept checks by mail at 2210 Columbia Street, San Diego, CA 92101. Payments are processed directly through after you are juried in to participate. The application fee for a group is $1000for a 10 X 20 space, $1500 for a 10 X 30 space, and $2000 for a 20 x 20 or 10 x 40 space. The application fee for an individual artist is $525 for a 10 X 10 space, $1000 for a 10 X 20 space, $1500 for a 10 X 30 space, and $2000 for a 20 X 20 or a 10 x 40 space.

Michael Summers explosions of colour Later during the holiday, I discovered more of Michael’s work in the form of Street Art in Carlsbad San Diego and I’m sure you can imagine how much more impressive it was to see the whole of the building covered in his art. You can’t help but smile when you look at his work, and be in awe as you watch him work. Next up was Michael Summers who paints mostly nature with an explosion of colour. Today I would love to share with you some of my favourite artists, who all gave permission for their art and stand to be photographed for this blog.Ĭlovis (Jerry Clovis Art & Music) was the first artist that I came across and I was mesmerised by this piece, not just because I love music but if you look closely you will see there is so much more to this piece than originally meets the eye.
There are several museums in Arts District who waive their entrance fee during art walk and of course, there are places to eat, drink or just sit in the Californian sunshine. Mooch around the stalls watching the artists work and stop for a chat to admire and hopefully buy some of their work. You can experience art of all types: sculptures, photography, canvas, oil, etc., and some live music too.

This is a free attraction where 100s of artists display their work in the historical setting of Arts District Point Loma.Īrt Walk is an annual event that has been running for more than a decade and also takes place in Carlsbad and in Little Italy at different times of the year, although charges may apply there. I love art and I love free things to do whilst on holiday so when I discovered that Art Walk was happening at Liberty Station, San Diego I was extremely excited, as it coincided perfectly with my road trip in August.
